An obnoxious playboy inherits a newspaper empire from his father, and offers a top executive job to any staff member able to discover the identity of a psychopathic killer that’s terrorizing the city's women. The contest triggers vicious competition among the newspaper's personnel and three of the men use their girlfriends as 'bait' to try to get the scoop.
