A sequel to GOING MY WAY, this film narrates the further adventures of Father O'Malley in his new job as parish pastor of St. Mary's, a proud but decrepit parochial school in danger of being condemned. With the aid of Sister Superior, the priest convinces a local skinflint to deed a new building, helps a confused young student, and brings a family back together.
